Welcome Camryn To The Buzznet Family!

Hi Buzznetters!

I'm Camryn and I am super excited to announce that I am officially a part of this site! I've appreciated all the support you guys have given me over the past year of being a Buzznet blogger, and I am super pumped to see what cool new stuff I can bring to you as an official Buzzmaker!

For those of you who don't know me, well, my name is Camryn and I am originally from Denver, CO. but moved to Los Angeles a couple years ago to pursue a career as a singer. After a couple crazy and viral Youtube videos, I joined Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance on the Waiting 4 U Tour and it all just took off from there! I released a few singles on iTunes during the time, and a few of them were even part of the exclusive soundtrack for the movie 'Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer.'

After that I took the summer off to record a new single, 'Set The Night On Fire' and then started up my own tour performing at middle schools across the US as a way to bring the arts back to the school. it was on the school tour when I found out One Direction was playing a show near one of the schools I was going to be at and I begged my manager to try to get tickets, even though it was sold out. And he did! I was so excited and had so much fun seeing them and Big Time Rush on the same stage!!! Also while on the school tour, Greyson Chance had invited me to come back to perform with him for 4 sold out shows on his Asia tour! I was so excited to perform in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines, and way excited to perform at the Araneta Coliseum where Thrilla in Manila happened!

I hadn't even been back for a couple days before my manager called me with the gig of a life time. I WAS OPENING FOR ONE DIRECTION ON THEIR UP ALL NIGHT TOUR. I am pretty sure you can imagine the amount of screaming I did when I found this out, and I'm also pretty sure my neighbors called the cops on account of my fangirling! I just couldn't believe it.

I played 9 SOLD-OUT shows with One Direction, and even got to meet the other openers Manika and Olly Murs and perform with them as well! This is where I debuted my single 'Now or Never' -which the music video for it debuted EXCLUSIVELY on MTV's Buzzworthy blog. Talk about a double dream come true!

It was right before Christmas that I found out I was going back on the road with One Direction for 63 SOLD OUT concerts all across the UK and Europe for their Take Me Home Tour. It's a dream come true to have it happen once, but being invited back is something I can't even begin to describe.. And I'm currently on the road with them! What made it even better was this time I got to bring my band along for the trip, and I'm so happy to have them around and be rocking out with them every night!

It hasn't been an overnight success, like most of us dream of thanks to YouTube and I'm still working hard every day to reach my goals. I am so happy and thankful to have all of your support and most importantly have you guys along for this crazy awesome ride with me!
